City of Lacombe releases digital 2015 Year in Review report to the community
The City of Lacombe has publicly released the 2015 Year in Review, a report to the community, as a digital publication on its website yesterday at the 2015 State of the City Address.
“On behalf of Council and staff, I am pleased to present this publication to our residents and stakeholders,” said Mayor Steve Christie. “This report highlights the work done by Council and staff last year to serve the public interest, and it also summarizes the value ratepayers received for their tax dollars.”
This synopsis highlights some of the many accomplishments of the City of Lacombe in 2015: from undertaking major construction projects to maintaining and enhancing our built infrastructure; to laying the foundation for future growth through responsible and sustainable planning; and adding to the richness of our community by hosting a number of community events and festivals. The report also includes City department and agency highlights.
“It has been my privilege to work with Council and a team of employees who, over the past year, have worked hard to make our community a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for all through the delivery of high quality programs and services,” said Chief Administrative Officer Norma MacQuarrie. “I am pleased to share the highlights of the past year with citizens.”
