City of Lacombe releases 2014 Year in Review report
The City of Lacombe has publicly released its 2014 Year in Review community report as a digital publication on its website.
“On behalf of Council and staff, I am pleased to present this publication to our residents and stakeholders,” said Mayor Steve Christie. “This report highlights the work done by Council and staff last year to serve the public interest, and it also summarizes the value ratepayers received for their tax dollars.”
This community report highlights some of the many accomplishments of the City of Lacombe in 2014: from undertaking major construction projects to maintaining and enhancing our built infrastructure; to laying the foundation for future growth through responsible and sustainable planning; and adding to the richness of our community by hosting the third annual Lacombe & District Harvest and Culture Festival, and the fourth annual Light Up the Night Festival. The report also includes municipal department and agency highlights.
“It has been my privilege to work with Council and a team of employees who, over the past year, have worked hard to make our community a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for all through the delivery of high quality programs and services,” said Chief Administrative Officer Norma MacQuarrie
